Do I need a fast internet connection in order for VoIP to work?

The internet speed you will need will depend on the traffic on your network and the number of phone lines you will have on that internet connection. Talk to a sales representative for more information.

Why use a VoIP Phone?

VoIP allows sharing a phone number across multiple devices. Calls made to that number can be answered from any other device that uses the same number, thereby eliminating missed calls from customers and the need for call transfers.

Can a regular phone call a VoIP?

VoIP or Voice over Internet Protocol takes analogue voice signals, converting them into digital signals, then sending them as data via your broadband. It is a fast and flexible telephony solution and in fact, you can use a normal phone with VoIP.

What is VoIP?

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows you to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line.

Do you provide hosted or on-premise VoIP Solutions?

Our services are all Hosted in the cloud. You do not have to worry about power outages or upgrading hardware - it all happens in the cloud!

Is there a contract, and what are the terms?

There is no contract with Abbax unless you are getting FREE equipment, such as Business Grade VoIP Phones or Network Hardware. The length and terms of your contract will vary based on the type of equipment you get.
